Essay text in the editor

Text entered into the essay editor stays in the browser tab’s memory. Save your own copy before closing or refreshing the page. The fictional feedback example is separate from the writing you enter and does not publish your draft or make it visible to other visitors.

Using the example feedback

Text entered into the essay editor remains in the current browser tab’s memory. The editor does not send that text to a model, save it to a server, or store it in browser persistence. Closing or refreshing the page clears the editor. Opening the fictional example does not evaluate the text you entered.

The page requests typography styles and fonts from Google Fonts. Browser requests to those services include connection information such as an IP address. Those requests are separate from the essay text held in the editor.

AI processing and your writing

Opening Example feedback displays a fictional draft with illustrative scores and comments. That action does not send the essay text in your editor to an AI service. Keep sample results distinct from an assessment of your own writing when discussing the example with someone else.

Third-party services

Google Fonts supplies the page’s typography resources. Requests for those resources are handled by Google’s services. Avoid putting unnecessary personal identifiers in an essay draft, especially when copying text to a separate service or sharing it with another person.

Retention and deletion

Closing or refreshing the page clears text held in the editor’s memory. The editor does not store that text in browser persistence or save it to a server. Your own downloaded files and copies stored in other applications remain under the controls of those applications.

Before sharing a draft

Check what information the essay actually needs to communicate. Remove identifiers that do not help a reader understand the experience you want to discuss. Keep a saved copy of the writing, and review the destination and access settings before sending it to anyone else.
